The Ox Yoke Inn® is "An Amana Colonies Tradition Since 1940" when William and Lina Leichsenring began serving local residents. Meals were made from timeless Old World Amana recipes passed from mother to daughter. The ox yoke is symbolic of the hard work and determination of life in the Amanas and recalls times gone by. You Hungry? World famous for food served ''Family Style." Hearty and light portions including chicken, steaks, roast beef, ribs, sauerbraten, wiener schnitzel, catfish and salmon. Also offering homemade soups, salads, sandwiches, desserts, Pies to Go, children's and carry out menus. Our bar offers local, American and imported wines, beers and cocktails. You will find banquet and meeting rooms, a museum and gift shop.
